iPhone beta on TestFlight
Plan the week, shop it once, cook it all in one session.
Plate & Kettle picks every meal from your calorie and protein targets and the pans you own. It writes one shopping list, schedules the cook around your oven and burners, and logs each portion from the number on your kitchen scale.
- 8,000+ foods to search
- 13 training splits
- 1 tap to log a prepped meal
A week of meals built from your targets and your pans
Tell Plate & Kettle your goal, the days you train and what's in your kitchen. It picks a recipe for every meal and sizes each batch to the pan you'll cook it in, then offers to fill the pan when a few more portions would fit. Change a portion and the macros, the shopping list and the cost all recount on the spot.
From the sample week in the picture: three recipes, two meals a day for five days and an afternoon snack.
- MenusHow you eat: three meals and a snack, or two big plates
- RecipesPicked to hit your macros, swapped with a tap
- PlanPortions and batch sizes that fit your pans
- ShopOne list, minus what you already have
- CookA run sheet for your stove and oven
- PortionWeigh, split and label every container

The same list costs $117.47 at one store and $96.14 across three
Plate & Kettle adds up every recipe, subtracts what's already in your kitchen and rounds each item up to the pack size stores actually sell. Pick the stores you shop at and it prices the fastest trip next to the cheapest one, so you can decide whether $21 is worth two more stops.
Check things off in the aisle, or send the list to a grocery basket for pickup or delivery. Tap Shopping Done and everything you bought lands in your kitchen, ready for cook day.

One cook, one oven and every burner on a single run sheet
Each recipe gets scheduled against the equipment you own, so the oven preheats while the rice simmers and the chicken rests while the tofu sears. Follow the run sheet one step at a time with a timer for each stage. Hands-Free reads every step out loud, and the step you're on stays on your Lock Screen.

Every container carries macros from your own scale
Chicken loses about a quarter of its weight as water when it cooks, so 6 oz of cooked chicken holds more protein than 6 oz of raw. Weigh each part of the batch once it's done and Plate & Kettle splits it by weight, then labels every container with its weight, calories, protein, carbs, fat and use-by date.
The portions go into the fridge on your Today screen, already weighed and ready to log.

A prepped meal goes in the log with one tap
Tap Log It on a portion from the fridge and its calories and macros come straight off what's left for the day. For everything else, search more than 8,000 foods, scan a barcode, snap a nutrition label, or just say what you ate, like "two eggs and a cup of oats," and Plate & Kettle works out the amounts.
A day's totals always equal the sum of the rows you logged.

Thirteen splits built in, and every set logged with one thumb
Log the weight, the reps and your reps in reserve (how many more you could have done) for every set. The rest timer starts on its own and moves to your Lock Screen with the next set's numbers ready to adjust and log without opening the app.
The first time you do a lift, Plate & Kettle starts the weight light on purpose and tells you how far to step up for the next set. Push/pull/legs, upper/lower and full body are all there, and you can build your own templates.

A weekly check-in moves your targets from your own trend weight
Choose Lose Fat, Hold Steady or Build Muscle. Plate & Kettle sets your calories and protein, matches a training split to the days you have and schedules your cardio. Every week it reads your logs and your trend weight, works out what you're really burning, and adjusts the targets within set limits or tells you why it won't.
Ask Your Coach answers questions with your own numbers in view. Photo reading turns a plate, a nutrition label or a grocery receipt into food in your log or your kitchen.

Apple Health, your Lock Screen and your history all feed the same plan
Reads Apple Health, never writes to it
Workouts, active energy, weigh-ins and steps come in so your training and trend line stay current without double entry.
Rest timers and cook steps on the Lock Screen
Adjust the next set and log it, or check the step you're on, with chalk or olive oil still on your hands.
Trends over a week, a month or all time
Graph calories, protein, weight and steps. Track strength for every lift, sessions per week and total weight moved.
Batch sizes come from the pans you own
Tell it your pans, pots and containers once. Batch sizes, cook times and the container count all come from what you own.
Sync that keeps both phones' entries
Sign in with Apple or an email and your history follows you to a new phone. Two phones logging in the same minute both keep what they logged.
Export everything, or delete it from the server
Export Everything writes your whole history to one file. Delete My Account removes it from the phone and from the server.
No ads, no data sales, and one button deletes everything
Without an account, everything you log stays on your phone. Sign in and your history syncs to Plate & Kettle's own server so it can follow you to a new phone. The AI features send only the question or photo you give them, and the answer comes back to you. The Privacy Policy and the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy list every place your data can go.
- Never sold, never used for adsPlate & Kettle has no advertising partners and shares nothing with data brokers.
- Apple Health stays read-onlyPlate & Kettle reads four kinds of Health data, writes none, and never uses any of it for marketing.
- Deleting is one buttonDelete My Account clears the phone and the server, and backups clear within 30 days.
